snouted crocodile at the Biotropica Zoo in
Va-de-Reuil, northern France. The species
is under threat as a result of habitat
loss, hunting and overfishing- which
has reduced their access to the fish they
sustain themselves on. A combination of
these factors has made this species one
of the world's most critically endangered
crocodile species.
