About the contest
"Travel writing contest No1" has started on 13th of August, 2019 and it has been a huge success so far (it is not over yet)! The main intention of hosting this contest was to support the mind-blowing Travelfeed.io platform and its amazing community. A decent number of talented travel writers showed a desire to share their experiences and compete for a prize pool of 120 STEEM. Because of the immense project success, I decided to keep hosting these contests one after another. All the money donated will be used to increase the total prize pool of "Travel writing contest No2" and future contests. All donors will be mentioned in the contest announcement. 100% of the Steem Power earned by this post will be delegated to @travelfeed.

Thanks for your response. I'm glad that is the case. I look solely at the proportionality of the rewards in the case of a normal post. Nothing else wrong with it otherwise.
Your project sounds amazing, and also it bring us more knowledge about different countries and cultures, and of course different languages..
More history will added to our dictionary with all of different descriptions by good writers and travelers..!!!

What is more, when doing this I feel like I do something good for steem blockchain and it's users in general. @Travelfeed is one of those projects I believe the most. :) You are always welcome to join the contest!

Thanks for being a great Steemian and looking out for these posts, we are working on a more detailed guideline and rules for OCDB for HF21 where regular bid bot stacking by the same users on unimportant posts will not be allowed and will result in removal from the whitelist.
Hi @acidyo. Sorry guys if I did something harmful or ilegal, but is my post really considered to be spam? As you can see I've posted three types of things lately: travel articles of more than 6000 words each (it took me a week to write each of them), travel videos (filmed and edited by my wife and me) and two "Travel writing contest" related posts to support the http://travelfeed.io platform, which creates a huge value to Steem Blockchain community. By the way, I funded it from my own pocket and going to continue to host them to give another reason for those travel writers to write good quality posts.
Just tell me that any of those posts are spam and I promise I will never use @ocdb bot ever again @acidyo.
It's okay this time, I looked over your account and you don't seem to do this often so I will not remove the vote. We are in a process to publish a more detailed guideline post about when to use and not use OCDB and will give fair warnings to everyone in time before removing or unvoting.

It's a great idea to encourage more travel content on the platform. People move around all the time these days and the more info available on places to visit, the better for everyone and the way travelfeed are approaching things is spot on!

Hey, I don't know if I understand your question, but I will try to answer. There are two ways to support http://travelfeed.io: you can post your articles using this platform or you can use http://steemit.com and just add #travelfeed.
However, If you want to compete for the 100 STEEM prize, you MUST use the http://travelfeed.io platform.
This is a good post, I think can handle it with Airbnb accounts what you think about it?

It is so awesome to see the high participation in your travel writing contest, we are seeing a lot of new users using TravelFeed. So happy to hear that the contest will continue!
As I already mentioned to @nickyhavey, I would like this Travel writing contest to become a much bigger thing. Right now I am thinking about the future prize pool. I have limited resources of Steem so I can not increase the prize multiple times so I am thinking about alternatives. For example, the 1st place winner could get STEEM, but 2nd, 3rd, etc. could get something else. :)
Steembasicincome could be a nice alternative as well for prizes, that way you can still give prizes out but you won't decimate your own steem holdings as you and the winners will get an upvote for life from sbi on whatever you post.

It's a bit shameful to confess, but I do not know what @Steembasicincome is. :D I'm like a caveman. However, I'll do the research sometime soon.
In short, steembasicincome is like a sponsorship programme. You send 1 Steem (or however many you want) to @steembasicincome then in the memo, put one username you would like to sponsor (can't be you).
You and the person you sponsor get an sbi share/unit for however many steem you send. This is worth about $0.003 per share.
Then you both will get an upvote depending on how many sbi shares/units you have, every time you post... For life.
It's a great investment and I've built up to around 400 shares so have around $0.07 upvote per post (I post daily so it averages out per week).
It's pretty cool, I like it 😁
