I agree with you on, "deal with the root, not the leaves". I think governments around the world should consider that. Instead of arguing about how many troops we need over seas, why don't we debate about whether we need war.

The governments don't want to resolve issues. They want to keep problems around, so that there are jobs to fill the requirement of economic survivability. Problems are required for most of the jobs to remain. If you solve the problem at its root, people will lose jobs. Politicians focus on jobs and economy because that's how people survive: System of Control - Constructed to Perpetuate Problems
