Never heard of her before, not surprising. Women of note tend to be forgotten in the annals of history. Especially if they are the revolutionary type.

Another amazing woman that's pretty much forgotten outside of Poland, the coutry where she helped lead the Solidarity revolution that eventually topped the USSR.

Sounds like a fine woman, and you are right, I had heard of Lech, but the western press hardly likes to make heroes of the true heroes.
