Your Daily Dose of Self Awareness
As part of their "Leonardo" service line, enterprise app giant SAP now offers (as of about 3 weeks ago) an enterprise blockchain solution. I believe that commercial, industrial, civil, enterprise areas of business will be a huge area of opportunity for the crypto community. I have noticed a lot more stealth work going on in the infrastructure sector that flies under the hype radar, but as a community we should take note. Supply chain logistics and international payments in the real world are now aware of some of the benefits of blockchain technology, only they are not hindered by hypervolatile token price fluctuations. They are not distracted by pump&dumps, so they simply focus on logic applications for a novel implementation of old technology and they are starting to pour more and more resources into it with each passing month.

I believe that if we come together as a community to create enterprise implementations that are a good ROI for megacorps, we can actually help set the internal standards for large organizations in the future by affecting the way their own data is decentralized. Imagine if company Big Corp gets hacked and tries saying some leaked files have been manipulated to smear their reputation, but then we could go back in the chain on the distributed systems and see what really happened (I haven't thought of a great analogy for this yet).
Is anyone else here interested in building out the standards and infrastructure of blockchain platforms for real-world use cases? Let's join forces!
