The vote counting for majority of city is going on for some days. While the result has concluded in some place owing to the small geographic population, the counting continues in those places with huge population. One of the surprising result is the race of Mayor for the capital of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu. From the last few years incompetent leader have been winning this position due to their political influence. After the end of their office tenure, the capital looks like it was before- no any development no any changes. A youth named Balendra Shah emerged this year and you can see him (in the leftmost side of the photo) leading by almost a double vote to that of another candidate belonging to a political party. No one would have thought a youth with no political background and no involvement in any political party will be leading by this much vote. While the couting is still going, there's already a great chance that he will win. It seems like many people and youth of the nation has believed his manifesto and vision and voted him. If he wins, I think there's going to be a grand celebration around the capital city.
