Much is believed that a child learns to read is when he begins to recognize the different letters and to make the combinations forming syllables, but the reading process really begins when the child begins to recognize images and associate them. However, beyond the reading of images or the combination of letters and the sounds they can produce, what we as parents should pursue is for our children to become readers.

Converting the smallest is good readers is a process that takes a lot of dedication, investment of time, a joint effort of parents and teachers. The first step when we are educating children is to do it through example, it is impossible for them to realize that reading is nice, when nobody at home sits down to read.
Reading them stories from a young age is a way to make them fall in love and as they grow up, they are invited to read to us. The classic stories are an excellent option to start, because in addition to having literary quality, the fact of being known, allows children to have confidence to "read", even when the process is starting, they are reading the images.

Another important aspect is to offer readings that arouse your interest, not necessarily be books, we can start with some magazines of your liking that contain articles of your favorite character, this way you will realize that through reading you get information about what that we like. It is important to keep in mind that the readings we are going to offer you enjoy, catch them and that you do not feel obliged to read, the purpose is to train readers for life, and as an added value these guys will have a better vocabulary, good spelling and they will be better thinkers.
Well friends, the invitation is to educate our children including the habit of reading, in order to avoid rejection, and on the contrary to get them to enjoy reading and from there read to enjoy.

I believe that a good way to cultivate a good reading habit in kids is to read aloud to them and try to make them interact with the images in the pages. This speaks volumes of why I prefer reading books with sufficient images than not. Also, parents must have that which they're trying to give to a child. Hence, parents need to become avid reader themselves. Kids learn salient details by imitation. Nothing succeeds quite like it.
That's absolutely true, kids interact better with pictures as it resonates with their instinctual drive for pleasure.
