It's interesting to observe how my baby is learning from this world and vice versa.
Around 1 month, if i showed her some finger gestures, say a V sign, she would try to repeat it with the correct side of the hand. This is amazing to me. As an adult, we usually don't try to repeat right after, sometime because i may do it wrong and other may laugh at me. But a baby wouldn't have such concerns. So practice is still the best way to learn.
Around 3 months, she, for the first time, cross her hands! No one in my family has ever shown her this before, which means she invented it herself! if we remember, many religions use this hand gesture to show respect to their master/god(s). While this may be a coincidence, i would rather think there is some connection behind it. If we think about it, that why a baby's first hand gesture of her own is this? Probably it has something to do with her brain development or by doing this, certain parts of her brain could be activated.
So, the hypothesis is, yoga or some other "Myth" excercise, are coming from those gestures learned from babies! Well, i think i would prove it further while she is growing bigger.
