Several years ago, I wrote an article entitled "Educate to get out of the crisis". It was published by a local printed newspaper. In that writing, I felt impelled by the social and economic situation in my country, and that was the feeling that came to me of proposing a different teacher. Today I want to bring that approach as a proposal because I still feel the need to share those ideas.
Being a teacher is a task that must call us to the delivery, to commitment, to do things with love, to have vision in what we do every day, and to educate to change positively. Being a teacher should call us to be reflective and critical. The teacher who undertakes new paths in search of the knowledge he wants to transmit is an entrepreneurial teacher, a teacher who does what he does with love, with dedication. In this sense, we must emphasize that the teacher does not come from the institution that formed him as such with all the knowledge he needs to be a good teacher. When he graduates from there, he is not complete in knowledge. It will be inserted in a new reality, a reality that although they were drawn to the university, this is a reality unknown to him (the school and its environment) where he will play as a teacher. He will face an unknown world, it will be his new reality, which he must know in order to change for good, a reality with hundreds of problems but that is where the teacher is really necessary and there must be awareness of it. This new reality is not only the school, that reality goes beyond those four walls, it is the community as such. Educating to get out of the crisis is to educate beyond school, that is why we talk about commitment, dedication and love.
We know well that in many places of our countries and of the world, there are teachers who are going up steps in this sense, that is to say that they are educating so that the reality in which they have immense change, that they are involving the environment in their daily work and who are radiating to that environment with a pedagogy that they have taken to their classrooms that goes beyond there ..
In the next moment I want to continue presenting other ideas that with all the love I would like to share with those who can follow me.
