We're certainly not authorities. We're just fellow users that are helping newcomers get into cryptocurrencies by way of Steemit. If you're seasoned blockchain programmer, then you're probably not in our target audience and we're certainly not trying to teach you anything new... but most people out there still have no idea what all this stuff is about and as they trickle in the door, they need some friendly faces to help them get comfortable and brought up to speed. I think of us as the "walmart greeters" of Steemit. I've been on Steemit for almost a year and am STILL just waiting for it to come out of beta. Once that happens and the marketting begins, we're gonna need a lot more people like us to help with the influx of newbies.
As for "cashing out," I already explained that in a previous video. I predicted a long downward trend in the price (which, I was right about) so I decided to sell high in order to buy back in low, just as I have been doing with other cryptocurrencies for 5 years now. I don't think we're at the bottom yet so I'm exercising a good deal of self-control to not jump the gun on buying back in... but we're getting close so I'm keeping a close eye on things... but frankly, this is a fun hobby on the side for me. I'm more than happy to participate on a casual basis but I already have a business and am not looking for another.
