A Teacher's Problem: Stress and Depression

Teacher is a noble profession right? And this profession is not easy job.

Teachers’ like me are also front lines of depression and stress. Most of the teachers are suffering stress and depression.
How can we help that kind of issue now? But before we will start to solve that problem let’s start discussing this problem.

What is stress?

Stress is motivates you. But it’s bad if it wears you down. Stress can cause changes in your body that affect all your emotion, physical fit, mental and emotional health.
In psychology, stress is a feeling of strain and pressure. Also, this is one type of psychological pain. Small amount of stress may be desired, beneficial and even healthy. (Source: Wikipedia.com)

What is depression?

Depression is a common and serious made illness that negatively affects your feel the way you think and how you act. (Source: American, psychiatric association)
Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease a person’s ability to function at work and at home. (Source: American, psychiatric association)

This are the common signs of stress and depression.

 Problem with memory
 Problem of concentrating
 Feeling angry
 Feeling nervous in oral recitation
 The face is sad
 Puffy eyes
 Haggard face
 Feeling empty
 Trouble with memory
 Feeling that they overcome difficulties in life
 Thoughts of suicide
Teacher @grace28 answer: whenever you feel sad a lot of the time but there are other factor too depending on the severity.
You can have anxiety, lack of sleep, drastic weight gain or loss from change in appetite, mood swings. Crying, or even sadness, feel sad for no reason.

Why teachers get stress? This are the reason and their answer.

 too much work to do
 limited time making test paper
 making lesson plan every week
 when the student can’t attend the knowledge will
 they are stress because of loans
 Making IM’s Instructional materials
 Child different behaviour ( you need more patience )

How to handle your stress or how to reducing your stress and depression?

 Take care of yourself
 Just enjoy the problem don’t close your mind and heart to your friends.
 Get the stress out with your family
 Manage your emotion
 Sleep wisely
 Drink and eat a lot
 Incorporate your mind with positive thought
 Avoid negative mind
 Self-counselling
 Always find someone to talked
 Open your problem to the phycology
 Be open minded
