It turns out that our tongue is the fastest healing part of the human body. Why this is so? This is due to the rich supply of blood the tongue receives, making it able to heal twice as fast as any other sections of the body.

When my brother Joshua was little, he went down a slide head first. As he went down he stuck his tongue out which got stuck under his chin SOMEHOW, and tore it in half. It was horrific but it healed quickly.
