First of all I'll tell you about Indian Schools ( Factory ).
At 3 yrs of age Indian children starts going to school.
First stage- Class PG to Senior KG.
Second stage- Class 1st to 12th.
Third stage- Race to obtain a collage degree.
I am starting with the harsh reality of Indian education system. Indian students study 12 years in School and at the end they don't know the use of the formula a2 + b2. “Knowledge is nothing until it is implemented in real life ". Now I'll tell you the story of nearly every student Indian Student, after completing his/her 12th class a boy goes to collage taking loans to study further. However he passes the session by cheating or rote learning and obtains a degree. But because of no practical knowledge, no company is ready to take him. Due to unemployment, he gets under the burden of loans. This results in depression and sometimes even suicides.
A social activist of India asked a student “Who is the first prime minister of Canada ? " he replied correctly, he asked again " Who is the second prime minister of Canada ? " he again replied correctly and after he asked " What is the name of your fore father ? " the boy became silent as he was unable to answer. Now think that the student knew the name of prime ministers of Canada but he doesn’t know his fore father, what a joke it is? Students are being taught things about foreign but they aren't taught all about India their own country.
I myself asked a student in the school " What in the studies annoys you the most ? " he in a sad tone replied that all students are only taught in school about the chapters of Physics, Chemistry and Bio and only 3 to 4 practicals in a year. All are being forced to copy all written stuff from their Lab Manual Book to the notebook. The English teacher commands us to complete the exercises of the grammar and after copy all of that including questions to the notebook.
And lastly I'll tell you about the board exams that occur at the end of 10th and 12th class. These exams are not exams these are demons. Before these exams students are being forced by their parents to study the whole day till the exam occurs. Indians parents just don't care of anything; they just want more than 85% from their kids in these exams. Here creativity and skills aren't bothered. Colleges only care about the percentage. And if you visit India for study then keep in mind the marks or percentage is directly proportional to reputation.
