A TIME TO RISE AND DEFEND THE NATION..
So much is happening to the youths, and many already giving up on all positives.... If true , what's next? Negativities
So much have been said and written in various media organizations on the various ills plaguing young people today.
Some say that youths are the architects of their own problems while others are of the view that their problems are societal in nature.
As for you, what do you say? Its not about what we say that matters but any and every happening must affect those that said and even those that never said.
What is the way forward? Our government have really failed us and do we have hope? I think a big No! Because even the system of our government is a fraud on its own.
How can we move forward? A question every youth ask , day in , day out without any result but of opinion .... "I think its time I travel abroad"
Even our so called churches do pray for us to travel to USA, CANADA, etc.... And I asked, what's the problem with Nigeria?
A question only a mad man can ask, because even the blind will feel "Nigeria not working " in favour of the masses.
I have to praise our youth. We have the best youth in the planet earth, we have the best energetic ones...those full of brains are numerous. These are peoples that passed through 3,6,6,4 or 5 system of education. They are builders of high optimum imaginary sphere.
Each and everyone of them at early stage had a focus and vision. (Can we say the mission becomes imposition because of old politician that do revolve each and every year stealing and killing the beautiful future of their youth).
I can recal as we do move in strength, from morning sleep , to duties, to dinning hall, back to hostel, then to class room, back to hostel, siesta hour, back to dinning, then to night class and so on but all in the same circular locus.
Men and ladies of big dreams , many never come to pass. Youth the future of tomorrow , a statement never seen to be true.
Keep holding the positivities...it pays...

Another school of thought believe that parents are to blame for the myriad of problems facing today's youth.
One of the major problems facing young people of today is high rate of unemployment.
Today, hundreds of thousands of our young graduates from different institutions of higher learning are roaming the streets in search of jobs.
This sad situation has incidentally brought untold hardship and unbearable frustrations on these young people to the point that most of them move against their natural wish have taken to various crimes.

One can argue and successfully, too, that youths have to a large extent contributed to their own problems.
Many of thee young men and women who are either gainfully employed or those who are excelling in their entrepreneurial activities abandon them in their quest for "bigger catch."
Some leave their well paid jobs to move around the streets snatching valuable items and also kidnapping people.
These youths either earn long jail terms or even lose their lives in the process.
Moreover, majority of our young people have shunned education to join the world of cultism.
This is a problem they mindfully created for themselves. Some join cults in order to acquire supernatural powers while others say that they did so in other to escape poverty.

Considering the aforesaid, one can say without equivocation problems facing today's young people are both societal and man-made, which must be carefully looked into.
Government should provide employment opportunities while parents should give their children sound moral and parental upbringing so that they will remain good members of society wherever they find themselves.

Everyone has a role to play. The government may only try but there will always be that loopholes that everyone's mindset is the harbour of the problems.
Sure bro. Everyone must be at work...
@drigweeu thumbs up man. This is very on point, highly informative and based on factual accounts. Thanks for this exposition
Welcome boss.hugs you
Good write-up. I believe the government have little to do with the problem facing we youths. Charity they say begin at home. If we all do our homework, Nigeria will be a better place for us all. Why wait for paid jobs, when you can start small. The problem facing us is simply we want to be Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates overnight. We don't want to work for it. Good writeup once again
Thanks @zoneboy , but government must provide conducive enviroment. Like security and easy accessebility of funds
I agree the government have a part to play in it.
BUT
The government are not the one bombing in the north. They are not the one killing in the west. I say we must come to our senses and get things right.
Come to think of it
Nigeria is a country with a population of over 180million. More than average of that population comprises of we the youth. We voted the government in. In my opinion, we the youths are the cause of our problems.
Dont you know that all happenings are as a result of poor atmosphere?
Ok. Your opinion, but I disagree and that is what makes life beautiful. A world with the people with the same character, opinions will be a very boring one.
Do you know that many youths are ready to take the fight for success? But what of security? Fear of forces like police and sars, also normal loans that do drive enterprenure world
I said this in one of the replies I say we must come to our senses and get things right. The government is now reviewing the activities of sars. This was because the youths spoke out. Endsars trended on twitter, and guess what, protest followed, the government responded.
THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD OR GUNS.
Why can't we youths do the same thing come 2019, vote in someone of substance and value.
The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.

Great
It's really a time bomb waiting to explode. Meanwhile the leaders of the land is very unconcerned about it.
Truth is, our system of govt is not ok for growth
Brother, perfect as your thought sounds. It would have been better for a reading and listening society. A people who love themselves and not a people who kill, maim and frustrate their future, (the youth) A people who love good but are not ready to pay a price. A people who cannot build themselves but build others. A people so divided in every ramification. Is it not said that "United we stand, divided we fall" A people who have talked nice talk for over 50 years and have little or nothing to show. A people so blessed and so cursed. A people who are so religious but have given birth to more etheist. We need more of work than faith. The owners of tomorrow are passive not active. WE NEED A REVOLUTION. Simple!
