RE: Captain VR - Hybrid Action Space

Yes, I understand your skepticism. Especially after Meta has cut thousands of jobs in the Metaverse division. But I truly believe that '' the Metaverse'' is an upgraded version of the Internet but in 3D and that would make it much more a group experience than what the Internet is now an individual experience.

I am certainly open to test out and try all sorts of technology. I think the foundational layer is the most important. I am a huge advocate for decentralization (for a lot of things), and have tested out a few "metaverses" like Decentraland and Sandbox, but, it seems like others are just not as..well-made? If that makes sense. I see the virtual environment application being extremely helpful in further connecting people, taking things the next step for video & audio conferencing, online classes for education, VR art galleries (which I think are REALLY cool - https://oncyber.io/ is one I have tested out). I do see how something like a VR music concert/festival could also be cool for those of us poor people who can't afford to travel and attend certain events in person.

Hi, I like Mozilla Hubs, also because it is open source and you can build your own spaces, worlds and experiences. I like it that you can enter with VR headset, laptop/pc and even your smartphone and it is Webvr based. With one link you can give people access to your space. That makes it really accessable. But the userexperience is depening on many of factors. Internet speed, device, audio, etc,. Anyway, we are not there yet, not in a long run. But I am excited for what is to come.

Ooh cool! I will check that out! I was playing around with https://oncyber.io for a VR art gallery
