If you don't know this earlier, you might never be able to guess right what the world's most expensive liquid is. Perhaps you might start thinking of some expensive organic or inorganic liquids or some other liquids of some sort.
I am not really interested in the worth of the liquid but the advantages the liquid presents.
The venom of the most poisonous snake isn't as expensive as the venom of a scorpion.
The scorpion's venom has been reported to be the most expensive liquid on earth with a worth of $38,585,507.46 per gallon.
With the venom containing 5 million unstudied compounds, it is referred to as the "Cocktail of Bioactive Compounds" with usefulness in medical applications. Proteins from the toxin shows antimicrobial activity and also exhibit antimalarial properties. For these reasons, this will open more opportunity for the development of new drugs and therefore, ability to treat a wide range of diseases.
There are different species of scorpion and only about 40 species have been reported to be poisonous enough to kill a human being. With this fact, researchers are looking into scorpion venom as painkiller- a peptide from scorpion venom can suppress immune responses allowing it to be used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
The venom from the blue scorpion has been used to prepare a drug called Vidatox which has also been reported to show promising anticancer activity.
For those who are business minded, exploring the huge worth of the scorpion venom wouldn't be a bad idea by setting up a scorpion farm although with a lot of care as it poses to be a deadly-business while on the other hand, researchers can venture into studying the 5 million yet to be studied compounds and utilize the advantages therein.

That is an awesome picture of a blue scorpion. Although I must say that I was stung by a brown one and it was the worst sting I have ever had. My whole leg felt like it was on fire for about 4 hours.
Yes....scorpion sting could be as deadly. The venom is very poisonous. I have never had the experience but from what you have just narrated....I wouldn't pray to have it.
