what a heartwarming post - thank you for sharing! my homesteading journey is still sort of all over the place, but i'm finding my mood getting better the more time i spent closer to nature. there were some AMAZING frogs last night as i brought wood in for the fire, and there was a rooster crowing this morning as i tossed coffee grounds to the rose bushes.
i do what i can for now, and i'm allowing the universe to lead me. i'm trying as hard as i can not to anticipate, but i'm ready to respond if something falls apart, you know?

Yeah that sounds like a good space to be in. Coming back again and again to the core elements of why we chose this life (and choose it over and over) is helpful. None of us know the future, we can only live day by day to the best of our ability. I think even trying it is commendable :) <3 best to you
