Steemit is such an amazing platform that has created a huge global community.
It continues to bring together so many different people from all over the world.
It really is a true representative of the great diversity we have on this planet.
Everyday I continue to learn so much from everyone's blogs and to be truly inspired.
Connecting me with so many amazing people .
It has been quite a few weeks since I last done a post welcoming new people to Steemit, as I have been very busy of late and it is quite time consuming looking through the introduce yourself tag. But I really want to see this great platform grow and become even more diverse.
It is really important to remember that in order for Steemit to grow we need to be actively encouraging new people to join and also to help them out when they do.
We all know it can be very overwhelming when you first start on Steemit, it's a ocean in here and it's easy to get a little lost and disheartened sometimes. Plus it can be quite difficult at first to get yourself seen. So hopefully by doing these posts I can help a few get some extra exposure.
This will be my 9th post so far, I will include links to the other 8 at the bottom.
So today I have 6 lovely people to introduce you to. Please check out their posts and give them a warm welcome and don't forget to check out the introduceyourself tag ever now and again and show some other new steemians some support.
@permagora
I am Eric McCool. I am an adventurer, a philosopher, an explorer, and an author. I am also a permaculturist and an agorist, concepts that, when combined, amount to what I call Permagora. Permagora is about taking an active role in transforming the landscape of our world and society for the positive, through clever design innovations that imitate the efficiencies of nature, and through bold disregard for illegitimately imposed laws and regulations. As a voluntaryist, I believe that all interactions should be consensual and that anyone attempting to use violence to impose their will on others is a bully or a tyrant.
@ifyouseekey
My name is Arden, I have a zest for life, a curiosity for knowledge, growing and spirituality. I love nature, exploring and living life to the fullest. I am interested in a variety of topics in life and love to write and explore new knowledge and ideas.I am an avid journaler and find joy in expressing myself creatively. I have been into a many blogging networks and I am thrilled to be here in Steemit. Below are reasons why I bog and wanted to be in this network.
@shruti.suresh
I'm Shruti Suresh.So what am I doing right now?
I'm training to become a conservation scientist.
I jumped into working for wildlife post-college (not with. for) I did some unartistic media and marketing communication work for a local NGO and WWF-Cambodia before heading for an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity.
Am I then, what I want to work as?
I genuinely don't know. I'm a big believer in learning on the job, and the kitchen and the dancefloor. Pretty much everywhere.I know I want to spend my life devoted to conserving animals.
@designstogrow
My Name is Matthias, I'm from Germany.
I love growing my own food and i'm always interested in learning different ways to grow new fruit and vegetable varieties. I grow about 25 different Tomato varieties alone ranging from red, yellow, black, green and orange colours, over different shapes and most importantly different flavours. I mean if you put all this effort into growing your own food you want to have something that actually tastes better then your average vegetables at the supermarket.
@jessicaoutside
Hi Steemit 🖐
I'm really excited to be here!
My name's Jess Harrison and I'm 32. I'm an Aussie but I haven't been home in years. I've been exploring North America for the past few years with my boyfriend Ben. Here's my story...
When I was 29, I quit my job, sold my things and bought a one way ticket to Vancouver, Canada. Thinking back on it, we didn’t even know what we were doing but we both knew it was time for a change. I was miserable and didn't even know it. I was pretty content in my bubble and I stuck to the same old routine every week.........
@phortissimo
I'm Phortissimo, an Indian-American hip-hop artist, beatboxer, computer vision specialist, and maker of dopeness. I grew up in South Carolina and went to college at UPenn. I'm now in Los Angeles grindin' to make it in the entertainment business as an artist and the tech industry as an entrepreneur. My interests include hip-hop culture, acappella, and technology (including cryptocurrency).
