I can relate about finding the white background. I think the closest thing we have to a white wall is some unpainted Sheetrock.
The strongest thing that I use to sanitize something is I keep a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide in the kitchen to spray the counters and sink if meat has been prepared there. Otherwise it’s usually just organic soap and water.
