Incredible post. I love the cedar boards and the whole cabin. We loved camping while building our house. There are some challenges but you don't remember those so much when looking back. It's all fond memories for us now. Love how you've been able to do it all yourselves with just some help from friends.

It's so true how the tough times aren't really what sticks out. I feel they make us better ppl and enrich the experience. U ever miss those camping days?
That cedar is so nice, can't get enough of it. I gues DIY is in our blood.
Oh yeah, we miss it and talk about it all the time. We say let's go back down the barn and camp this weekend, then we say, how bout we just go down there and hangout for the day instead 😊. It's always great memories and thoughts of that time, but we are spoiled now in our fancy new house with running water and electricity. 🙂
