EAST DIRECTION :

The East Direction embodies the medicine of the EAGLE. It is the energy of the rising Sun, the dawn.

It takes us through a journey of clarity in the Chaos. It is the bright rising light that dispels darkness and ignorance. It has the qualities of creativity, focus and awareness.

It relates to Air element, as it allows us to soar like the eagle, to see where we are going, what we really want to dream. And it provides mental support to manifest it.

The East direction is the new beginning of the cycle. It is the rebirth of the day. It is the enthusiasm that we feel when we start something new, the awakening of Light within our confusion.

It brings creativity, and supports the manifestation of our dreams. Kit is a mental helper, that sustains curiosity, clarity, mental understanding, brain cognitive functions.

It will help you to bring your inner knowledge from the winter/night to the world, to the rising Light.

It helps us when we need to foresee the future, or do our Vision Quest. It is the energy that allows us to set an intention with clarity and focus. It helps us to see the big picture, like the eagle soaring in the sky.

In the angelic realms, it connects to the archangel Raphael, the great healer.

The gemstones associated are : Very clear crystals; silver; moonstone; turquoise; amethyst; rhodochrosite; royal azulite.

It relates to early childhood and to Dawn. It is the energy of the Spring, where nature goes into rebirth, like the day with the Sunrise. It connects to the color yellow as it brings clarity into our life.

Call upon the East Winds :

To the winds of the East.
Great eagle, condor
Come to us from the place of the rising Sun.
Keep us under your wing.
Show us the mountains we only dare to dream of.
Teach us to fly wing to wing with the Great Spirit.

(from Alberto Villoldo, peruvian shaman)
