By compound are you referring to those is the Ruby’s family (cloudberry, blackberry, thimbleberry etc)? Thanks for checking it out.

And yes, I didn't know it was called the Ruby's family, but those would mostly be blackberry, thimbleberry (my fav!), and salmonberry (related to cloudberry, it seems) out here. Compound meaning the berry is formed from many smaller parts.
