Thanks for being an example of what is possible NOW. People are hypnotized and don't seem to see the answer to the equation staring right at them. Get your house in order, and your house will be orderly. Can't think of anything more in order with the forces of nature than an Earthship. Great post @eco-alex ! Hopefully Steemians will also maybe see that if they lived in an Earthship (or considered integrating aspects of Biotecture into new or existing structures), they'd have less bills, higher quality of life and more Steem to go around.
Same here. From what I read though, it's got me wondering if the whole idea of security is an illusion... maybe there is really ultimately no security, no matter how you live and what precautions you take. We are all subject to massive forces which are way beyond our control. All we can do is be thankful for what we have - be it family, friends, a roof over our head, food, health, safety, freedom... because any of those things could easily vanish in the blink of an eye.
But I don't want to put a downer on the discussion - especially as I only read the first paragraph or two. Maybe real security comes from the knowledge and acceptance of the transient nature of everything.
