EcoTrain QOTW: Trump's Rise to Power

EcoTrain Question of the Week:

Why and how did Donald Trump rise to power and do you think his tenure can help the world if you ignore the obvious negatives?

This one raises a considerable amount of irritation within my psyche, so I am focusing on staying cool as I write this. If I'm being honest with myself, I'm admitting it's not going to be easy. I will, however, predict that it will be relatively brief, as my feelings on this are quite concise. I'm not putting in any additional cutesy pictures, because I'm a little irritated. Not with anyone in particular, more with, well simply, circumstances. With all respect and much love and appreciation to Alex and all aboard the train, I begin...

My dearest friends, if you do not already know this by now, please do the research required to gain an understanding of the most basic and important aspect of american (in fact just about all) politics: ANY candidate from either the republican or democratic party (read my lips) HAS BEEN VERY CAREFULLY SELECTED AND PAINSTAKINGLY CONDITIONED, BY THE SYSTEM.

ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IS ANOTHER PART OF THE ILLUSION OF CHOICE.

PERIOD.

It's really that simple. O-drone-bomber had me in tears on two different occasions, in the real hope that someone headed for the white-whore-house was finally a human being that wanted to see things changed dramatically for the better, for all. I did temper my expectations with the realization that once an elected head of state actually takes office, it's extremely likely that they're introduced to the fact that the powers they thought they'd be wielding don't really exist, at least not within their grasp. I think it was Bill Hicks that lampooned a hypothetical president-elect, wherein he's brought into some conference room of the white-whore-house or maybe pentagram, and as the new prez-to-be is chiming on about the wonderful changes he has in mind, someone from the CIA interrupts with (something like), "Please have a seat, Mr President." At which point the lights go down, and the real Zapruder film is shown. When the lights come back on, the CIA agent then asks, "Are there any questions, Mr President?"

At which point the president-elect, certainly not for the first time, swears his undying allegiance to THE SYSTEM.

Now, this was a supposed comedy piece spun up by the brilliant mind of Bill Hicks, but Bill in no way believed it was really a fantasy. He deadpanned it. With purpose. On that same note, if you feel certain that this type of scenario is fantasy, I feel very confident that you're being naive.

First, sitting presidents do not wield power, not of their own. They administrate power, as instructed. They're puppets. Like all world 'leaders', they're phony. And if, after repeatedly swearing their eternal fealty to THE SYSTEM, they do some crazy shit like printing interest-free notes to circumvent the federal reserve, or use what power they can muster to avoid getting more heavily into whatever war is currently being peddled by the pentagram, or threaten to eliminate the CIA, or make public statements such as (paraphrasing) "There is a plot in this country to enslave every man, woman and child, and before I leave this high and noble office, I intend to expose it", they're going to get their head blown off in a public place.

No, my friends, Trump is NOT going to do anything to bankers or anyone else who supports THE SYSTEM. If he so much as threatens any such thing, he'll be set straight with extreme prejudice. If he actually attempts it, he's a dead man. It's been done four times in america, it'll be done again, whenever needed.

O-drone-bomber promised transparency and verifiable change for the better. Then, what he delivered was a collection of 'executive orders' whose numbers were unprecedented, the most insidious of which gave the sitting president the (supposed) power to fill out a death warrant for anyone on the planet, including americans, no exceptions, and no reasons necessary. Only some informal claim of the victim being a 'possible threat'. Again, these aren't powers available at the president's discretion by any means. He'll be instructed as to when to 'exercise' them.

O-drone-bomber was a fraud. He was set up and conditioned to appeal to the masses of humans across the planet who were in the infancy stage of awakening to THE SYSTEM. He was exquisitely intelligent, and a gifted speaker. Perfect. He would make verifiable, transparent change. But what he actually gave the world was a colossal "FUCK YOU, Love Barry". After which, I finally took the time to do the required research.

It is my hope, that if you've read to this point, you already 'get it' about Trump. Because as always...

YOU'RE BEING PLAYED.

YOU'RE BEING PLAYED.

YOU'RE BEING PLAYED.

I'm hoping three times might do it. And please forgive me, I'm aware that most of you here on Steemit who are trying to make the world a better place, are well aware of what I've shared in this article. My diatribe here is for the few who haven't yet quite gotten the full depth of what the true situation is.

Like Barry, Trump is a piece-of-shit liar. Unlike Barry, Trump is a loose cannon. Not nearly as nuts (nor as stupid) as Killary, which is why he was 'chosen'. Just like drone bomber before him, he appeals to the growing frustration with THE SYSTEM, and he indeed threatens to dismantle it. He was going to "drain the swamp", remember? He did! Maybe, but he replaced it with more muck than was in there in the first place. How shocking, right? Not a bit.

NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE, AT LEAST NOT FOR THE BETTER.

The vice will only tighten, just a bit more. How about one more bit of evidence?

Okay, only charter members of the democratic or republican parties can become truly 'electable' (hahaha - another subject entirely) candidates. When Libertarian candidate Ron Paul completely undressed all opposition in the republican debates, left the lot of them utterly speechless, it was subsequently established that candidates not affiliated with either republican or democratic parties would no longer be welcome in debates.

Need I go on?

Your take on this seems to make the only relevant characteristic of a president their economic/military policy. Indeed, on that score every president of my lifetime has been virtually indistinguishable.

But what about the environment? What about the rights of women and various ethnic and religious groups?

This 45th president appears to actually hate the planet itself, hold women with an abusive disdain, and approach non-European descendants in much the way a nazi would.

To me what defines a president is not what he has in common with all others, but what differentiates him.

Thank you for such a thoughtful reply! My only intent in this article is to point out that elections, when it comes right down to it, are utterly pointless to citizens. Voters have no power whatsoever over who gets to run for office. Voters only get to choose between the 2 candidates that were chosen FOR them. And those candidates are OWNED by the system, without exception, and they do nothing but what the system orders them to. No candidates have any power of their own whatsoever, and the system that puts them in place laughs out loud at all the arguments over military, foreign policy, women's rights, gay rights, the environment, religion, you name it. Policy on EVERYTHING is predetermined, long before any pretend elections are held. The game is rigged, we're all being played. It's been that way for a long time. Fortunately I'm finding increasing numbers of folks, particularly here on Steemit, are now well aware of this farce, and are no longer being played.
Woohoo!!!
Again, my thanks for your reply. Peace, blessings and joy to you and yours!

I hear your argument and mostly agree, except that I think it only applies to the economy and the military. There is a huge difference between the current and previous president (and actually the current and all previous presidents going all the way back to Andrew Jackson) on social issues. That's why the battles in the public consciousness are generally fought around social issues.

Thx for the upvote support!
