Instead of just the standard introduction post, I wanted to start off throwing out an idea and seeing what the community thinks of it. I want people to shoot holes in this idea, and then I am sure others will provide ways to fill those holes. So here goes....
##Decentralized Beer##
Problem: Government Regulation and Crony Capitalism create Monopolies, which in turn creates a barrier of entry so large, that most home brewers never even consider the idea of bringing their beer to market.
Possible Solution/concept: A block chain based network of Brewers that collectively brew and share recipes. This network allows a traditional small home brewer to scale up his recipe using the resources of the network instead of purchasing thousands of dollars of equipment. Of course the network participants would be rewarded for participating in the brew. It does not end there, distribution needs to be handled as well and this would be done direct to consumer, like Uber/Lyfte (more like arcade city). Consumers request beer through an app. This beer request provides the demand, the demand determines what the Brewers brew, the Brewers that are closest to the consumers can get the beer to those consumers. The beer can be voted on and rated which will be two fold, helps customers find great beer and can be part of the rewarding method for the Brewers. I believe that the network would need is own "beer token" like steem, but consumers would make purchase with Bitcoin .
