I love being a truck driver. We are the 'modern-day' Cowboys of the world. The time away from family is the biggest complaint about my job. This is not a new struggle. Cowboys have historically spent a great amount of time away from home.
There are many benefits. The pay is good. I work alone. I get to see the United States.
Technology has made my job a lot easier and it also helps ease the burden of being away from home.
I wanted to encourage others to look into trucking as a career. The United States economy could use your assistance too!
This MoneyWatch Article discusses how the shortage of truck drivers in the US economy is causing shipping bottlenecks that translate to an increase in the price of goods. This is helping inflation to move at an accelerated pace.
This is not good. So...help your country and make money doing it....Become a truck driver!
