Since the liberation and independence of colonial rule, economic development has become an integral part of the state policy of the developing world. In the last half century, as discussed in the theoretical stage as many have been discussed, evolution has also taken into account the main ideas of development. There is also debate on the success of these issues of poverty reduction, inequality and employment. On the other hand, the world economy is rapidly changing and the process of globalization is becoming faster and more intense. The question of what this process is contributing to economic development is coming to naturally. But along with the question of development in the beginning: the role of agriculture and industrial sector. It is not only these two sectors, but also the question of how rural women can play extra-nutritional work and can play role in the development of the services sector. The basic structure of the present book has been developed in the development ideas, evolution of economic growth and development, and the role of different sectors in the development process. The issues that came to be covered around the framework include issues such as poverty, inequality, employment and globalization. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the role of the World Bank are also discussed. Throughout the book, with the relevant theories, examples and explanations have drawn the experience of developing countries. But the last chapter is written about the economic development of Bangladesh. We believe that the book will be well received by enthusiastic general readers, development workers, policy makers, researchers and students-teachers about economic development.
