That's because people are chasing something in return for their post. Tokens, or maybe coins.
This happens almost on every decentralized social network, which has a requirement to post every day to earn a small amount of cryptocurrencies. Those requirements make them post anything, even if they have no idea about the quality of the post.
That's not only happens on decentralized platform, we can see the same things on centralized platform such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
I have lots of social networking accounts; Facebook, Instagram, Desofy, Steemit, Twitter, Tumblr, Publish os.ix, Sigle, Manyverse, Minds, Mastodon, Uhive, Ecency, and MAIN. But I left some by deleting my account. That's because I don't like their features very much and they make me uncomfortable. Now I only use Facebook, Tumblr, Mastodon, Uhive, Ecency, and MAIN, and will leave two more for next year after comparing them. I learned about people's habits on decentralized social networks and came to these conclusions.
For those who use decentralized social networks to chase crypto coins, believe me, you won't get rich. You can't even buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks in a month. Get some work IRL, do online shopping, register your YouTube, Blogspot, Wordpress or personal websites to Google Adsense and get lots of money from there.
I use social networking only to share my thoughts or my ideas, and sometimes just for having fun, because I know I will not get rich from there just by posting every day. I will post something if I really have something interesting to share, to discuss, or just to make my friends laugh.
