I definitely like the bird picture. Although it's far away, it's beautifully centered in the middle!

YEs .... I say it lot when I walk out, not try to hard, just walk and let photos to come, it is normal some days or weeks I not get nothing , but soon good photos are back.
Even your so called 'bad photos' are decent for an amateur like me! ;p

Uh ... no one is amateur in photography world, you just need get your mind open and let photos start come in. I am sure you can make lot cool photos like we all.
