They are mainly nocturnal, gotta bring a big flashlight.

So are foxes for the most part but the babies are probably curious about leaving the den.
Foxes are also curious :)... but they also run fast too if they see you in forest:)) , but this ones who live in very big cities are not afraid and may walk next to you on the street for a long time.
