eBay selling - how I made my first $100k with no risks attached explained in 1 minute

in #ebay8 years ago (edited)

Hi Guys

Huge hello! In under 1 minute I explain how you can make money on eBay with no risks at all.

Really simple

1) you find a shop near you that sells cheap items or something you know you can sell online or perhaps even to another country that's more expensive

2) take your phone to that shop find the item you want to sell take a picture of all sides of the item/s note the price the shop is selling it at

3) once you've got your photos (for free) go home log into eBay create an advert using picture you   just took, put a mark up of whatever you want work out the postage and put the advert up

4) when you get a buyer go back to the shop you took the picture from, buy the item, walk to the post office then post the item to the buyer who has already paid before you buy the stock so there is no risks except obviously if the buyer returns the item or says it wasnt delivered.

Anyway I found I had no returns and rarely did I get a difficult buyer maybe this is worth a think about? Let me know how you get on!

Hope you found this useful?

As a professional ebay seller, I know there are other things to consider with this strategy:

  • It is going to cause you major headaches if you list something for sale on ebay, you sell it on ebay, then you go back to the shop only to learn it's out of stock.

  • You are going to find this to be a ton of work. So if you want to try this strategy, only do it with higher-priced items. I'd recommend only selling items you can make $100+ on after all ebay and paypal fees are taken into consideration.

  • Be sure you know how much it's going to cost you to ship it. You might calculate your fees and think you're going to make a good profit, then you go to ship it and it costs $60 in postage instead of the expected $10.

Hi mate thanks for your feedback.

  1. personally I only sold items that I knew the shop would not sell out off, also I looked for the same items that where sold in different shops too. Back up.

  2. once I created the advert that was pretty much it, it ran for the 30 days then I just rolled it over again when eBay offered free advert listings which they revise ever 3 months too so you can grow

  3. I'm not sure about the $100 business that's too much of a risk for me I went for the low end items that cost me $2-5 then sold for $10 but I worked on volume to lower the risks -just a thought!

  4. postage I alway always went for items that where light under 1kg for sure I spend 2 weeks in 'beta' learning but you soon pick it up!

This is also a great idea if you spot something thats got say 70% discount, but you don't want to pay up first, obviously you can put it on eBay for 20% discount lol it works there is no risk really, at the end of the day what works for me may not work for someone else!

Cheers
