Well... It took a little bit of figuring to set up our EBay store but we did it! Soon we will be matching comic book listings both here on Hive and Ebay! That's next!
Honestly! It was pretty tricky figuring out EBay's back end set-up... And frankly we had a way easier time setting things up here on the Hive Blockchain. There's all sorts of loops and compliance involved with setting up a EBay store and we also had to shell out the $19.95 per. month (annual commitment). That's pricy especially when you consider how good things are here! We almost decided to ditch the EBay idea and just work with Hive but in the end we persisted.
We thought that the best plan for the success of the shop is to keep a foot in both places at the same time. And Hive will benefit too because there's just so much more that we are going to be able to do over here on this end... AND there's a HUGE customer base over on Ebay. Our plan is to direct some of those people (as many as we possibly can in fact!) over here to Hive where things are fun, free, and wide open for the future!
On top of setting up the Ebay store we also did some tweaking on the banners here on Hive to brand them side by side with the EBay store and make it more apparent as to what we are attempting to build in both places!
