The fact that both America and Russia were willing to take in Nazi scientists only re-enforces the fact that they were willing to do anything in the race for world wide power. Regardless of the suffering, by their hands, of many in the war. Be it Jew or even Gypsy. Or even the ordinary folks living in the european countries.
Only few were punished after the war in comparison to the atrocities that were committed.
