Yeah, their fees are pretty ridiculous. Take a look at most of the trading prices for stocks too - a joke compared to crypto exchanges which typically charge a fraction of a percent.
The old guard of the financial world can't compete (at least not on a level playing field) which is why they put so much downpressure on crypto through government regulations, media hit pieces, etc. They want to funnel everyone to their systems, their controlled pet crypto coins, etc, so they can get their cut. /end rant
