The world today is all about "smart" from smartphones, smartwatch and of course smart TVs. But smart TVs are expensive and many of us cant afford to buy one. If you still have your CRT TV in your living room like many of us here in the Philippines you can still watch your favorite movies from Netflix in your 18 y.o TV. Here's how to turn your old TV into Smart TV.
First, you need an Android box or media box
There are tons of media or streaming box to choose from. I bought a Mi Box because Xiaomi is a known brand and it has a nice feature and design it's also not that pricey compared to other brands.

HDMI cable which comes with my Mi box.

HDMI to AV converter. Most of the TV box uses HDMI you need the AV converter to connect to your old TV
Just connect your TV Box to the HDMI AV converter input and connect the RCA cable to the converter's output and connect to the TV. Once the set-up is done you can now watch Netflix, Youtube and even play games on your new CRT Smart TV.
Thank you and Enjoy watching!
As for a good TV set-top box, see everything here https://www.switchonshop.com/en/linux-stb/mag324/ A decent choice and reasonable prices, I think this option may even suit you
