DxChain has been working on developing a decentralized platform that will store and analyze massive amounts of data. As we all know, today data became more valuable resource than even oil, so it's no wonder there is a need to protect and manage your data, and to achieve this, DxChain is going to use the smart power of blockchain technology to create this platform.
DxChain network provides two main options such as the data computation and storage services. Now only big companies can afford to store and manage large amounts of data, as they have got expensive equipment and collected the most of customer and consumer data. For exampl ase, Google has navigation data of those who use Google Maps. The users don’t have a control over the data and cannot use it.
DxChain can be used a trading platform to transmit data to other users.
This platform will provide completely private and decentralized environment.
The roots and idea of the project can be traced back to Lightning Network where a second layer payment protocol operates on top of a blockchain. Besides, we were inspired by Hadoop big-data platform developed and managed by the Apache Software Foundation where one of our team members worked before.
DxChain platform provides chains-on-chain architecture, which consists of a master chain and two side chains that are responsible for storing different information.
Master Chain records and stores data about assets and events such as transactions, agreements and so on. The master chain uses a proof of work (PoW) to provide the highest level of security and stability as well as to improve the overall network performance.
Data Side Chain (DSC) stores inactive information or metadata, which is a dataset that provides information about other data and serves as a data extraction method.
Computation Side Chain (CSC) stores certain computing tasks that are performed on DxChain platform as well as records computing processes, which deals with the large volumes of data. In addition, it can determine if the task is run or not.
The main components of DxChain platform
Verification Game allows a user to perform all computing tasks more efficiently and safely, minimizing the number of calculations performed by network nodes.
Provable Data Computation (PDC) allows a network to check the precision and accuracy of the calculation results. The side chain uses that to verify the authenticity of the results and to reduce the prevalence of false information.
Proof of Spacetime (PoSt) & Provable Data Possession (PDP) are used as a consensus protocol to store the data. The data chain uses the PoSt and PDP methods to verify transactions and prevent the network from different automated attacks that can cause damage to the network.
Data Model Enables Privacy Preserving provides flexibility when recovering the files on a small scale.
Token Type: Utility. The ERC20 tokens will be issued during an ICO for the initial supply. When Mainnet is launched, they will be transferred to the blockchain.
The utility tokens will be given out as rewards to providers of computing and storage resources and miners who perform useful and valuable mining activity at the network level. In addition, the tokens will be used as a safe and basic method of payment between network users.
