Dubai is growing so fast! Everywhere you go, there’s something new—buildings, roads, shops, new communities, and so much happening. One place that’s really exciting is Dubai South. It’s like they’re building a new city next to the Al Maktoum International Airport. The airport is getting bigger too, so there’ll be more flights, more businesses, and more people coming to Dubai.
Because Dubai South is close to the airport and where Expo 2020 was, it’s turning into an important place for business and trade.
And it’s not just Dubai South. Old projects are coming back too, like the Palm Jebel Ali. They’ve started selling properties there again! This man-made island shaped as a Palm tree like the famous Palm Jumeirah island where Atlantis Hotel is built is quite bigger than its twin sister and sits right across Dubai South development near the borders of Abu Dhabi in the south of Dubai.
There's a building frenzy going on all over Dubai but this particular area has its own potential because it's cheaper in comparison, I wonder whether it will grow organized or a congestion nightmare like say Jumeirah Village, we will find out in the near future.
Why talking about Dubai's expansion, I am staying here for the past many years and I'm planning to start my own small business and would love to hear opinions of people who actually live or lived here and whether they can suggest other cities in other countries or some niche businesses to invest in.
