DTube Vlogs | Filming a Cinematic Vlog on The iPhone 8 Plus

in #dtubevlogs6 years ago

Whatsupp Steemians and DTubers?! 👋🏼

Do some of you ever look at other creators with extremely expensive equipment and think that it's necessary to create some banger cinematic scenes? Well I'm here to break that sentiment. Today's vlog is filmed 100% on a iPhone 8 Plus with a camera comparable to many of the modern day smartphones today. I did use a Osmo Mobile gimbal which gives me a slight edge but try to remember the iPhone has image stabilization built in as well.

In other news, I'm using Final Cut Pro X to edit my videos for a couple of weeks! I wanted to give it's performance advantages a try! Do any of you use FCPX? Let me know your thoughts below!

good video, I'm following you, would you like to follow me? I would like it

Beautiful view! I used iPhone 6.

I did not know that with a simple Iphone 8, you could record such excellent image quality, this has left me with the idea that good content is achieved with a good knowledge and of course the team also influences hahahaha.

What the heck, showed I wasn't subscribed. That is hog-wash, I was def following you! I enjoy using shotcut myself. Shotcut is amazing and always in developing its platform. It has its glitches, however once navigating those you can avoid them pretty easily. A lot of blank screen at the end of this video.

Nicely done. I've shot some pretty decent stuff from cell phone. They have some amazing abilities these days. Mostly, give me good story and sound, and the rest is butter :D
