grateful. ♥️

Hey,

I know it's been a while since I've made a video. I had plans to explain why that was but I decided I didn't want to focus on the negative things in my life anymore. My head has been stuck in that place long enough. Instead I just wanted to talk about some of the things I'm grateful for. Because it's easy to forget the sunshine when you've only been surrounded by the dark clouds.

Things I'm Grateful For Today

• It's a beautiful day, the sun is shinning and the birds are singing and I get to experience nature in all it's tranquility.
• I finished up at my job three days ago. I now have the freedom to dedicate as much time and energy to dtube, steemit and all the communities I care so much about.
• I'm going overseas in a few weeks. I don't have a return date and the path isn't very clear. For too long I have settled for circumstances out of obligation, not happiness. Finding myself back on the road is choosing the path I know genuinely resonates true to my heart.
• I'm grateful for all those who have supported me endlessly through all of my rough times, even when I have been so challenging. I know it hasn't always been easy. Also for the @dtubedaily community - I never expected to find so much love and support through an online community but as each day progresses through this journey I find us all moving closer together. It's pretty damn special.
• Chocolate.

Also to @elima and @buttcoins - just having watched both their current videos it's nice to find solace in the fact that we all have our struggles and insecurities and that this platform is growing into a place where we don't feel the pressure to hide that.

Thanks for being here.

Biggest love to you | Sarah. 💜

hey..you dont need to explain anything..we understand you dear..neeqi..♥♥♥

Thank you Afrin, you are always so kind and supportive towards me. I appreciate it a lot. You are a wonderful friend. 💗

you are also a so good, wonderfull and cute friend...♥♥♥♥

Being able to admit to yourself what it is that is not working and what it is that can help to get on the right track for yourself and actually do it is one of the most difficult things a human can do. It is so easy to get comfortable in the system and it is soo difficult to get out of it. I am very happy to hear that you are doing just that. It really sounds that you are following your heart and it will take you where you have to be. :) I am looking forward to seeing your journey, more so, it is not just pure travelling but finding yourself all over again. It will be beautiful. :)

Thank you @lostinhappiness. 💗 That has definitely been one of the hardest things for me, being able to admit a lot of things and come to the reality of it all so that I could move forward.

it is not just pure travelling but finding yourself all over again.

I really like the way you put this because I know it to be true but I just hadn't let myself be reminded of that. I've been a little overwhelmed with the feeling of being a little lost and I know so much of that melts away when you're travelling.

Welcome back!
You don’t ever have to explain the ‘why’ to anyone, your reasons for making these changes and taking these adventures are your own and you deserve to be able to make them and find your solace! We just want to know the ‘who’, like who you are now, and what these experiences create in your life. Always a joy keeping up with you, I’d be grateful if I had some chocolate in my fridge as well haha.
Best of luck on your travels, I cant wait to keep up with you!

Hey Tim, 💛
It's really lovely to hear from you! I hope you've been keeping well. And I appreciate that a lot, it's so easy to fall into the trap of expectations that we create for ourselves. I really love your perspective about presenting the person I am in this moment based on what has happened but not focusing so much on the what of what occurred. It really is the interactions like this that make me feel so comfortable with sharing myself with you all.

Also I'll save some chocolate for you. 😉

Great decision to quit your "9-5 job" and change your life. Go get it beautiful! :)
DTube Daily Community got your back.

Bless.

Sorry I clicked the wrong button ;] As a Creators and Artist we always have are ups and downs and it is normal. We are a bit weird to be honest but if we do not create no one does. This is how this works :)

I am not made for the 9-5, I have spent too many unhappy years committed to doing things because I thought that was what I was suppose to do, not because it truly made me happy. And I guess all the ups and downs gives us all the wonderful inspiration to create.

Thanks for the love Neo. 🧡

I have born in 1984 and always been a part of family business and then got my own. Since I left Poland in 2007 and arrived in UK I have worked like "9-5 job" for 10 years so I know both sides of it. From december 2017 I finally say goodbye to "9-5 job". Im still doing a part-time job to cover my rent/bills for my friend which is eBay but that is home-based and got more time for projects/collaborations I'm doing and my personal brand etc etc etc

Good luck Beautiful :)
Bless.

Youre cool! I like your vibes. Thank you for sharing your experience. I wish you good time in Thailand!

Thank you @aaronhawk! I'm grateful that you took the time to watch my video. 😊

Good stuff, Thailand will be good for you ✌️

I love this shot of you by the swings. I forgot you were sugar crazy haha.

Thanks for sticking by

A change of scenery will definitely do me a world of wonder.
Thank you. 💙 Sometimes you just gotta swing shit out.
And yes, love me someee sugar baby!

This video really hit me inside, I have mega respect and admiration for your honesty and for your bravery to drop the burden of your job and 'taking life by the balls'. I'm so grateful to have met you online, you've helped me through things more than you know. I'm so excited to watch your travels and watch your next step in your life. :) So much love Sarah! xx

💗 I appreciate that a lot @slayerkm. It's been amazing to connect with you over this time and I know we have discussed this before but having this platform and space to express myself and be creative and connect with so many beautiful humans gave me the deepest and most honest purpose during a time in my life when I really needed it. It makes it easy to push through these hard times because I think collectively we all understand that we are here because we seek more for the lives we want and we are finding a real way to fulfill the things our hearts desire.

I think you are amazing and courageous. Love where I think you are headed right now with @neeqi version 2.0 :)

Thanks @captainbob. 💗 neeQi 2.0 is definitely feeling inspired and invigorated!

ok after reading your comment and then watching this, this one made me smile.

your tone was very encouraging. Just trying to stay grateful and positive.

also, you should do swing vlogs more often. Something endearing about it.

for some perspective, just the other day (when I was really feeling low) I was saying to myself, "man life would be so much better and I would be so much happier if I lived somewhere beautiful/awesome like Australia." Im sure home is trapping no matter where it is, and I am very excited for you to be going to thailand and cant wait to see what creativity results from such a journey 😊

ps. your freckles are showing (its not just your sister)

It was definitely a challenge to start off with, just trying to focus the thoughts on positive things but it was a good practice. Something I am trying to be more mindful of. Because you know somewhere in this world someone is dreaming of the life I am living and the situations that I exist in and it's always a good thing to remember that we can still find happiness and contentment where we are, as long as we can slow down enough to see it. I hope one day you make it to Australia! I'm sure you'd absolutely love it.
And maybe there will be more vlog swings, I forget how healthy it is just to get outside and play around like a kid. Also the summer is bringing out more freckles! 💗

Wow, Thailand! Sounds like that might be the beginning of a whole new chapter in your life. Quitting your job and making this decision was a really brave step. I’m looking forward to your future content. It’s good to see you again :)

@liveyourdream. Thank you, it feels good to be putting myself out there again. It just really reminds me as to why I started vlogging at the start because the process gave me purpose and also because the community has always been so amazing. The next chapter is a little daunting but nearly all things in life a uncertain so I look forward to riding the waves! ❤️

I admire your stream-of-consciousness here, looking into your moment of transition and gazing forward toward the things you're hopeful for. Wishing you a feeling of freedom in body, heart, mind, soul, and spirit.

Thank you@cabelindsay. 🧡 I just watched your art video for the freedom challenge. Such a beautiful piece. It's nice to meet more artists amongst the Steemit sphere. Do you upload at all to dtube? It would be amazing to see some of your content there. Well wishes to you. 🌻

I keep trying Dtube, but it isn't working for me. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I've uploaded several videos there, and they never seem to publish correctly. I'll keep trying. In the meantime, I have good news for you:

It can be a little difficult to get the formula right for uploading to dtube. Dtube doesn't decompress videos like Youtube and that was one of the first issues I encountered when I started posting. Using a program called handbrake can help with that. I'm not sure if this is contributing to your issues but I'd be happy to give you some tips if you're interested. 😊

Also thank you so much for the feature! I love the idea of this project and look forward to getting into it a little deeper. 💗

Good to hear that you aren't looking to negative feelings anymore. Only worry about what's happening now rather than what can happen. You're always better thinking positive so you start from a high note and then if something happens, then you've at least started at a good place.

@dtube. Honestly, this comment made my morning today. I forgot to mention that I am incredibly thankful for this platform and the support that you guys continue to provide. The upvotes are always appreciated but being able to engage with you is a lot more valuable so thank you. And I agree 100%, it's good to set a positive foundation so when things arise you can adjust accordingly. 😊

hi @neeqi happy to see you free for steemit i always want to see your post in my feed actually i miss your posts. Please take your time and spent it with me on steemit thanks a lot

Thanks @farah-kamran. It's really nice to be back online and I really appreciate your support. 💙

Nice one @neeqi!! Mine was the USA when I took off and it helped forge my future by me helping forge myself and what I was about. I look forward to following your adventure :) keep safe

The states isn't too bad a place, I've spent a bit of time there and although it's got some crazy people it's beautifully diverse in it's scenery. I'm looking forward to getting back on the road and really reconnecting with myself again. 😊

I like the original post

I like the original comment. 👍🏼

That was such a beautiful video Sarah. I imagine that it took some courage to put that out, but I’m glad you did. Your emotional honesty really shows how special this group is and you’re such an important part of that. One of the first daily videos I saw when I started was your doing yoga and drawing I think it was Artakush. You have a really honest style and I love that about you. I’ve been through similar existential crises and spoke about that very thing on a video a couple of days ago! I too am trying to focus on the positive and this platform is really helping me to do that. It’s great to see you posting again. Stay gold!

Thank you @camuel. You know when I started posting and even just the morals I hold in life, was to always be honest to myself. It's so easy to come across people on social media who create a persona to present to the world - always the picture perfect, highlight moments. I use to hold negativity towards that a little because seeing it gave me anxiety because I doubted myself, why isn't my life like this.. or why arent things perfect like this for me.. ect ect. But I also understand that theres no value in criticising something without trying to contribute to it's change. So in my eyes, if I wanted to see a world where people were more honest about themselves and with themselves, I had to start as an example. And that can be really challenging but the beautiful thing is that I have this amazing community here who support me and genuinely care, and we all reflect and encourage all these beautiful traits in each other and it's amazing. It's not like anything I've ever experienced online or even in real life to some extents. So as daunting as it can feel to really put myself out there with videos like this, it ends up being the most rewarding because of the ripple it affect it creates. I am so glad that we are all in this together. 😊💛

I've missed seeing you on here Sarah! I'm glad you're back! Good luck on your trip! I'm excited to see where it takes you. Also, I watched all of Rick and Morty. I binged it like the day after we talked about it and I loved it. Thank you for that!

Hey @jeffmcmullen! I am so happy to be back. It's just amazing how much all of you here really uplift me when I am feeling the depths of my emotions. I appreciate it more than words could express. Also I am so glad you watched Rick and Morty! I definitely thought it was something you would enjoy. They just touch on some super thought provoking topics with a little touch of madness. 😋

there were moments during this that it felt like you were at the edge of having a cry...it made me think about tears and sadness. about how it been so long since i have had a cry. which made me well up, made me feel you were right there in front of me...that i just wanted to hug and have a cry, but then i stopped myself from crying through that weird auto block in my brain that says things like stop being silly or a baby or man up or whatever stupid shit a brain says to you in a moment.
arrggg, damn brain.
the wind, the child swing, the gratefulness tinged with sadness.. it all made for a really amazing, pure, melancholy yet hopeful vlog. i send a big fat cyber hug to you... to me... to any and all. may you get free internal and external, may i find my cry, may all discover these benefits of being honest with self and world around. big love sarah hope we can find a way to sneak in a visit while your in Thailand!

@buttcoins, I appreciate this message a lot and I hope you know that watching your video prior to posting gave me so much more confidence to do so. I've spoken to a few people recently about the stereotypes pushed onto us about how our behaviours should reflect based on our genders - one being the idea of toxic masculinity and that men feel that being emotional, crying or just expressing themselves is a sign of weakness. It's a hard conditioning to move away from but I'm so grateful that more and more people in this space feel comfortable opening up and creating a safe space where we can explore these parts of ourselves. There was so much crying done before and after this video but it felt like such a cleanse. I was really able to shift through a lot and I am so grateful for that. I am hoping that we can make this Thailand meet up happen otherwise I do have plans to be back at the lake. It would be so amazing to see you and the family again. 🧡

Yes cmon another full-time DTuber! I would love to watch your daily travel vlogs as it would look fun! Keep up the fantastic content @neeqi!

Thanks @Tricki! Full time Dtuber has a nice ring to it! 😆 I'm excited to see where the journey takes me! 🧡
