Hahaha :D I know that feeling! Overcoming the public while moving is quite easy, but if I am at one place it's a bit more adjusting.
The funny thing about the family is that my father at the first time I took out the camera and did some recording got into the shot and also said some things which were funny, he wanted to be part of the video :D That was awesome!
Great video KEV!
Thanks, Reinis. That's cool your dad jumped in haha.
Have a good night!
Thanks for the series of how to conquer beginners vlog mental blockers. I personally have allowed my own expectations to hinder my growth & production, when in reality no one on here has any expectations of my creations and vlogging as your authentic self/ taking advantage of the moment in public is great way in covertly meet people and get free stuff lol
haha what a hustler. If it helps, pretend you'll never make money on your videos. What videos would you then do?
If I could make any videos that would be based on what & how celebrities daily struggles are & how they are overcome, storm chasing, but mostly likely on here I'll be sharing my photography experience. Thanks for asking 🤙🏾
dude, go ask some celebrities for some interviews. Start small and gain traction!
Challenge accepted.
Good luck!
He didn’t say “My name is Kevin”!!! Well, you can vlog in front of friends and family as long as you decide not to see them again^^ Or if you haven’t got any friends like me for example that isn’t a problem at all xD
Stop being such a negative Nancy!
That's a good point man and something I struggle with. I'm in the local bookstores weekly and I always think to whip out my camera and do a video or two...
But then this voice comes into my mind....And I think people around me will say...
"Who is this clown talking to himself?"
LOL
Maybe ask the workers if it's okay to film. Then set up all your gear and even some lights and make it really obvious you're filming a video there. That way people won't care as much
We share the same sentiment ! actually here in our place they kinda stare at me as if i was doing something wrong , and all the malls here dont allow vloggers taking vlogs :( it's so sad that they were judging us through our ways . We are doing a decent work here . We are not stepping some individuals dignity
yeah for sure, Cordeta! the world needs to be less judgemental
Good advise.. i need to take a page out your book as when i'm outside and wanting to vlog but people are around i'm like hmm... maybe later... lol but i should just do it anyways :)
Easier said than done, haha. If you're nervous, bring a friend or family member along. For some reason it makes it much easier if there's two of you.
@melissakellie i tried it once and it's a peak hour , some people stopped in front of me and someone even said am i a journalist :D
Nice one!
haha yeh d.tube and cypto same here not telling anyone yet till its mainstream maybe..
But even my youtube account I didn't really tell anyone till they "discovered" me and then yep I got embarrassed and didn't know what to say (many years ago now) and then I couldn't deal with the trolls that found out my full name and where I lived or whatnot.. and they thumbs down'ed a lot of my videos and spammed it.. I lost home for a few weeks then..
keep making them!
youtube is so brutal haha
Hilarious! My friend and I became such DTube celebrities making great content, we went on a shopping spree with all our virtual moola. Check out the bling we got: https://d.tube/v/nerdstalking/abr9wlet
