RE: Is taking care of ourselves overrated?

Dam bro... Always horrible to see somebody suffer!
I used to work in a hospital and started off as a healthcare assistant.
Cleaning up after patients, changing beds etc..

One time I cared for a young guy who had bowl cancer, well he was a little older than me and I used to see him a few times a day, depending on where I was put.
I answered his call bell one time... The little button you push when you need assistance and I went in his room to see that he shat the bed a good one,, literally everywhere and it was my duty to sort him out.

We had a giggle and he was embarrassed at the mess he made, I wasn't very happy ... but you learn to smile and get on with it.
He looked at me during the cleaning and he said to me "What are you doing with yourself Jeff. You shouldn't be here doing this man "

He told me that since I am in good health to pursue your dreams and desires.

About a year later I made the decision to do that.
I am not sure where he is now but if you happen to see this buddy, thanks for the kick up the ass and I wish you all the best and hope your recovery was alright.

Sending fist bumps and hugs to your step pops Bru and I wish him a good recovery.
Big hugs man.
Peeeace.
