In this outdoors vlog I talk about Uruguay`s taxes when it comes to importing goods from abroad. Whenever you want to import something that costs over USD 200 you have to pay taxes on it... but damn those taxes are way to high. Happens that I want to buy a gimbal (FeiyuTech a1000 3-Axis) but if I want to order it online I will have to pay almost 2 times its price! YAAAY. I just wonder where that tax money goes to... politicians mansions and luxury cars probably.

It's actually something like this here to, if I order something outside of EU we need to pay a tax that usually is more expensive than the object itself. And no more home in mailbox, you need to pick it up at a post place. So stupid and like you say all those money does not go back to US the people 😜

I had no idea that it was that crazy in Uruguay so that was interesting to hear you talk about it and good awareness. Just sad that it is like that and for no good reasons.

I'm frustrated when I hear stuff like this. 60% taxes?!??! are they out of their fucking mind? My god I would be furious if I was living there, would probably move to another country.
The only reason you are paying it is the incompetence of your leaders who sold your country to the banksters. Sad situation bro, hope you figure out a way around it. Can't you get it send as a gift by someone else? Or send it to someone, who can use it for a day or two and throw some mud on it so it looks used. They cant make you pay taxes if it's not new.
