Yeah no one wants to use their weapon unless they need to, except for the people that will use their weapons against you so cause and effect no matter what. I tell my wife all the time we hunker down, I will recon the area and if we need to we canvass the area for people who seem to be prepared and ill prepared because those will be our largest assets and threats. Constant patrol of course but as the saying goes if you have to shoot back you might not be able to so in a life or death situation shoot first. At least you can live to regret it.
