yup, the best place to do that is inside of a courtroom with your own lawyer.
that depends on the situation - but whatever can be done to end the potential for violence is a good thing.
They even try to 'protect' you when you tell them not to...
I couldn't imagine living in Airstrip One, the UK is a repressive authoritarian regime. Why did the police go to his house in the first place?
He apparently streamed to youtube that he was going to hang himself. He later said that he did it to get attention to bring light to his evidence regarding the Rupert Murdoch phone hacking crimes and other issues relating to child abuse cases. He was a famous singer in the 90s as part of a boy band that sold 20+ million records, so he is attempting to use that to expose corruption.

Yeah - he ended up being told that if he spent a week in a mental hospital the charges he was facing might 'go away'.. He did that and then went on a rampage to expose the terrible state of 'care' the people in there were experiencing. I think he's a good guy, but probably did too much cocaine.
