there is no certainty in life
Life is subjective like you said. For me, this has been the one lesson I have learnt in life. It is not so much about effort--yes that counts most times but not every time. I have seen shitty people get the best things in life; I have seen bad people get away with stuff; I have seen hard work amount to nothing. So my philosophy is to give my best. I'm a ride and die kinda of guy. I don't care about the result so much often times. I just want to know I gave my best in everything I do, and that counts for something.
The first time I tried dtube I was so nervous. I have a funny accent; I'm not good at talking, I listed all the things I could stop me from acting but I had to stop and tell myself that I was going to do it anyway, even with my bad video and poor audio quality. It's been a month so far and I'm still here growing strong. And I love the fact that we on dtube and steem do not care about limitations. I tag dtube as a platform for average people-- a platform where ordinary people have a voice (it gave me a voice). We don't care about our imperfections, we silly just act.
Nothing is guaranteed but the journey is worth it. All we need do is take that quantum leap of faith.

You and I have similar paths. About 2 months for me on Dtube. And a little shaky and very nervous on video at first. But working to improve on that. Just growing
As far as the "ride" thing. I definitely can go along with that. For me the journey is more profound and enriching than the actual Destination itself ( whether that be massive Success or not) .
It is indeed nice feeling to ensure some moments of motivation of the vlogs of yours Dan and have to say the different stated that you have mentioned is indeed a real necessity in our life and I have been through few of the stages as well and at the end of the day was indeed fed up (Like the wight loss part, similar to that situation with the job hunting lol) but have to say at the end it worked the way I started following my way in my life. Yeah at every situation it is indeed hard to get a hold of various of them but Life has many opportunities for us we just need to keep on going. Once in a while we all need that push to move forward. THANK YOU !!!
To achieve success we have to just do it but plan ahead and set goals. @theycallmedan Nothing in this world is made easy to get so we just have to work for it and if we are persistent and consistent enough plus all other factors we can receive the fruits of our hard work.

Very well said. It is vital to understand that to succeed you need to focus on yourself. Make you your biggest competition. You will always do what is best for you, that's how we can succeed in what we are doing. Focusing on yourself and not being bothered by others is crucial. Everybody's story is different, everybody's situation is different. I will never have the same leverage someone else has because of this very reason.
The biggest epiphany I ever had was that "success is subjective", just like life. The definition of success is different for everyone.

Hey @theycallmedan always like your videos, I know that this doesn’t matter to you because you are recording your voice to your version in the future, but anyway I find value in your ideas for mi daily life.
In that way I feel encourage with you but also I can realize that you are a clever guy because you are awarenes about all the possibilities that we can have as humans.
The blockchain technologie is super cool yes we agree but I like what you say about to enjoy the process and not only the objective. If we like the blockchain we have to use it in spite that especulate with our incomes and profits of the future.

Good message, you have to know how to interpret it. The statistics are not bad, but you have to know how to interpret them. It's not just having statistics that sometimes do not help at all, but take advantage of them without becoming a single payroll reader.
I like that some people are healthy on a vegan diet, while others are doing well on a carnivore diet. There's experts saying that both are either good or bad for our health. I think that the truth is that we're all individuals and need to find what works for us. Its a shame we like to tell others that our way is the best but that's just human nature.

A person with good bad experiences of life learns in this world. If someone learns quickly then someone learns late. Somebody gets the protection of fate, so someone believes in their hard work. It is more important to see what we are doing to see people's activities.

My focus is weight loss coaching and the whole job is about excuses. I was a fat 4 year old who finally lost weight at 50 and have never had a problem again in the almost decade since. When I lost the weight I was sad to learn that is was only my excuses that kept me fat for all those years. This is the subject of one of my books on Amazon Kindle.
But I am also an accountant and statistics are part of my life too. When I got to the 5 year mark of keeping the weight off, one of the places I post to congratulated me by reporting that only 5% of successful people are still at their goal weight after that time.
And currently over 80% of Americans are obese or overweight. I used to be the rare fat kid growing up. Now I stand out for being the odd thin person in late middle age.
All of us can beat the odds. Few of us do.
And the trend is only getting worse. One in four kids is considered obese in the USA. Crazy.
Yes, I really had a lot of trouble with that before I left the states. I was a fat kid in the 1960's and one of very few. Now so many kids are obese and I could not stand to see it. I know how hard it is to be that way.
When I first found out about the BMI chart in the 1980's, 15% of people were obese and I was one of them. Now it is 40%+, and I turned into a freak for being thin. The stats have not been updated for a few years now.
The whole situation is a tragedy, related to toxic ingredients in the food in my opinion. The are something like 900 chemical additives allowed in US food and around 700 are not allowed in other countries. How did this happen?
Agreed, most people take the easy way out even when they know there's no future in it. I'd rather try something else and have a chance than do what everyone else is and have a guaranteed life of misery. Set your goals high and achieve some of it rather than keep them low and achieve them all.
I am happy I am not surrounded by people with excuses. Just less people and all fighters.

You are very clever about many things... good news to hear these thoughts in today s world, sometimes I tend to forget some of these and loose some strength...overflooded by statistics, media filling out head, consumerism, etc...
impossible word is a word in the brain of a failed person! Anything that someone else has succeeded in. You can also succeed in it, but you can excel it, but on condition; trust in yourself and overcome fear, get out of your comfort zone, try new things in your life, learn every day and develop Yourself .... Everything is in your hands, the path of success is clear and the path of failure is also clear, you are the one who will choose the path that you will take! If you succeed you should be proud of yourself and thank God, but if you fail, you should not blame your failure for anyone, because no one will listen to your excuses.
