Managed to have a chat with @heimindanger. Awesome guy :)
So basically he told me to change the API settings as in the screenshot below. I was using the second API url and told me to revert back to the first one.
So anyone who is getting the problem do check if the above solution works for you.
After talking with @heimindanger, I made a post with the latest stats of DTube and how well it is competing with Youtube. Do check it out :)
