I Want You to be an Anarchist

in #dtube7 years ago (edited)

Anarchism is probably not what you think it is; it is not mass murder, bombs and bazookas, arenas and gladiators, bloodshed, or Mad Max and the Thunderdome. Anarchism is simply the ability to live a life of cooperation without fear of being told how to cooperate.

The word comes from the Greek. It means "Without Rulers." It is true that the term has picked up some nasty connotations. It has come to mean political strife or disorder. However, this misconception of meaning does not resonate with how anarchists think or feel. In reality, anarchists want to be your friend. They believe in compassion and human connection.

Anarchy is not possible just yet - you can't escape the government, but perhaps ideas like STEEM will push the technology forward to building a freedom environment where governments and monopolies just can't get established. Ideally - You do what you want, get recognized for your skills and rewarded for your effort - the less middle men are involved in regulating this process the better and technology can replace that "middle man". Let's hope governments won't get too corrupt and ruin their countries before such technology is developed... although it is somewhat AGAINST the "elite's & government worker's" interest - which is why anarchy naturally lead to people in power going for violence to protect their power and that's why "anarchy" seems such a dark concept.

Well your first sentences sums it up pretty well.. Anarchism obviously is not what I thought it was. Thanks for the enlightenment. And good luck with your library. Following

This reminds me so much of the Sex Pistols.

I was not knowing about anarchism. From your post I got some knowledge about anarchism. Thanx for sharing....

I already am one my friend, thanks to great minds like yourself, Derrick, Larkin, Jeff, James C. James E.P. and Richard. Good times.

Great video brother! Very simple and straight forward. From the comments I can see that a lot of people are interested!

Keep up the good work!

It will not work, most humans are simply not capable of ruling on their own, we're social creatures and need hierarchies to function properly.

..so true! we've been taught wrong from the very beginning.

I agree, no one should be selling our freedom back to us. It is our right to be free of toxic governments.

What you sir are talking about is LIBERTY! As in: "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" is a well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence.[1] The phrase gives three examples of the "unalienable rights" which the Declaration says have been given to all human beings by their Creator, and which governments are created to protect. And also in our Pledge of Allegiance: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." but do people today know what LIBERTY really means? It is similar to freedom but different. According to Meriam Webster it means: the quality or state of being free:
a : the power to do as one pleases
b : freedom from physical restraint
c : freedom from arbitrary or despotic (see despot 2) control
d : the positive enjoyment of various social, political, or economic rights and privileges
e : the power of choice

I believe anarchism ideas are great, but I think is very difficult to do it in real life, with the initial ideas staying without corruption. A lot of greed is out there.
