As we make videos regularly, one thing we need to avoid is reoccurring mistakes. We need to have a clear picture of how each video will be made without hitches or complications. Which brings me to having a routine checklist.
Anytime, I'm about to record, I run through my checklist to be sure I'm absolutely ready for the shoot.
What's my checklist? Simple: Production Design, Lights, Sound, Camera Composition and then Record. It's important you have it in your subconscious mind.
Let me mention it once again in clear detail, production design which involves your set, costumes and makeup, lights - general and stylish illumination, sound - mics and quiet environment, camera composition for example "rule of thirds" and finally the record button, because if you forget to press record your performance is in vain.
