My brother and I started practicing fasting accasionally a few years ago. It's hard to commit but once you get going it is an amazing experience. Also my mother gave me a book a long time ago. I think it was written in the early 80's. I just spent the last hour looking for it. Anyway the author did not call it mindfulness meditation but that's exactly what it was. And what a wonderful tool to have. I don't do it enough. Something else I should do more and try to get my kids to do with me is Qigong. Have you heard of that? I want to be a healthy old man someday. Right now I'm just an old man. Thanks for your podcast.
