Snap-on RC truck

in #dtube7 years ago

A buddy of mine won a RC truck from snap-on tools yesterday. I used my OnePlus 5T to record the first drive at 120fps.The editing was done on the phone as well with Adobe premiere clip.

Hey man! I didn't expect this one to be such a monster, lol! The choice of music is perfect 😁 What's the price of this truck?

I don't know if snap-on actually sells the truck or just uses them as promotional items. I have seen them on eBay for about $1500. The truck is actually a Traxxas X Maxx just with some extra items that snap-on added. Those start at $900.

The truck is huge though.

Yeah that song fits. Hey when you did you slow motion video, did you have to slow it down in premiere as well?

Oh, the price is quite steep! For $1500, I can buy an old but functional car :))

The winter one, which I took with my phone? I can't remember really. I am going to test that now.

P.S. I have DaVinci Resolve at home, but I don't thin it makes a difference. The super slow-mo video is already in super-slow mo when I open it in Resolve. That might not be the case if you shoot at 120 fps. My Lumix can go up to 60 fps, and in order to make it look like slow motion, I set the speed to about 60% in Resolve.

Steep indeed. I actually have a car with about $1500. I drive it a lot to save miles on my truck.

After I posted that video I found the speed setting in the premiere app. Thats what made me ask. About 60% is what I was finding that worked well. Really got choppy below 50.

I don't currently do a lot of videos but might have to try out resolve just because. Those consoles that they have on their site are sweet though.

Oh, the consoles are awesome, but I wonder how much they cost :) I am afraid to look for the price on the internet, lol. As for Resolve - the free version is awesome!

I didn't even bother looking them up. I like that kind of stuff and don't even need to tempt myself.

I wasn't sure if the free version was limited or not.

Hmm, there are surely some differences in the features :) You can read more about that here: https://filmora.wondershare.com/davinci-resolve/davinci-resolve-vs-davinci-resolve-studio.html

The music that goes with this video is perfect. I love the way, the little big bad truck knocks down the big bicycle.I am glad you posted it
